Manchester United have held talks with Juventus about the possible sale of striker Mason Greenwood, The Pitch Prospect has learned.
Juve is one of several European clubs, along with Italian rivals Napoli, interested in signing Greenwood.

Greenwood is close to leaving Manchester United for good, with the Premier League club demanding £50 million for his move.
He spent last season on loan at Getafe after joining the Spanish team on the last day of the summer transfer window.
United announced last August that he would continue his career outside the club following an internal investigation.
The young striker was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of rape, assault and death threats after pictures and videos appeared on the Internet.
He was suspended by the Red Devils and denied the allegations against him.
The charges were dropped by prosecutors in February 2023, but United conducted an internal investigation.
United later confirmed that Greenwood would no longer play for them.
At the time he said: “The best decision for all of us would be for me to continue my football career away from Old Trafford, where my presence will not be a distraction to the club.”
“I thank the club for their support since I joined at the age of seven. There will always be a part of me at United.”

He then played 33 times for Getafe in LaLiga, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
The Madrid-based club are keen to bring the Englishman back on another loan deal and have been in touch with United to agree a second contract for the 2024/25 season.
Now, however, he could move to Italy permanently.
