Chelsea defender Malang Sarr has reportedly been released by the club.
The 25-year-old came to Stamford Bridge as a free agent after his Pretty The contract runs until 2020 and ends for five years.

He has only played 21 games for Chelsea, eight of them in the Premier League, and earned a whopping £20.8 million – but now he is reportedly set to leave the club.

However, it now looks like he will leave the club as a free agent.
Monaco had been given an option to buy when Sarr joined the French club on loan in the 2022/23 season, but the French team decided not to exercise it.
A transfer to Le Havre reported in January fell through as the French club’s director, Mathieu Bodmer, blamed Chelsea for the deal’s failure.

He said at the time: “What Chelsea did to Malang Sarr was disgraceful. When only a few details remained to be clarified, they did a U-turn. They gave the young player the green light to travel and a financial agreement was reached for the remaining 18 months of his contract at Chelsea.
“However, they deviated from their agreement several times and then gave it again. And when the player agreed to make a big effort and come to us for a small salary just to play football, they blocked him.
“Everything was fine, the contract had even been submitted to the league, but we never received the notice from Chelsea. In the end they just told him he wasn’t leaving and they didn’t even answer the phone.”
The Athletic also reported that a source close to Sarr said they had “never seen him this low” after the deal fell through.
