As The Pitch Prospect has learned, Newcastle have entered into talks with Crystal Palace about signing Marc Guehi.
The English defender has been linked with several top clubs this summer, including Arsenal, and the Magpies have now completed their move.

However, the Eagles want at least £60 million before they consider selling the highly rated 24-year-old.
Palace signed Guehi from Chelsea for £18 million in 2021 and he has been a regular fixture since, making 150 Premier League appearances across three seasons.
The centre-back has also started in England’s starting eleven and impressed on his country’s way to the final of the 2024 European Championship.
A move would make Guehi Newcastle’s fifth summer signing, joining former Blues academy colleague Lewis Hall, who recently moved to the north-east on a permanent loan for £35 million.
Palace, meanwhile, appear to be prepared for the centre-back’s departure, bringing defender Chadi Riad to Selhurst Park from Barcelona for £12 million plus £2 million in add-ons earlier this summer.
