The Premier League 2024 summer transfer window is in full swing and clubs have spent a lot of money on the new season.
On 1 July a new PSR began [profit and sustainability rules] period, which meant that teams across the country began to spend money a little more freely.

6
June saw many clubs attempt to sell players before the PSR deadline on June 30, leading to some strange deals between rivals to ensure no one suffered a points deduction.
But now these worries are over for another year, as the top clubs are strengthening their squads for the coming season.
A lot of money has been spent across the league and here are the biggest deals so far…
5. Max Kilman – Wolves to West Ham: £40 million

6
Julen Lopetegui’s biggest target since becoming West Ham manager was Kilman.
The Spaniard had worked with the Englishman at Wolves and was a big fan of the central defender.
Kilman has great technique and brings much-needed youth and speed to West Ham’s ageing defence.
The Hammers have spent a lot of money, but it should prove worthwhile.
4. Amadou Onana – Everton to Aston Villa: £50 million

6
Aston Villa broke their transfer record by signing Onana from Everton.
The Belgian midfielder returned from Euro 2024 and completed his £50 million move to Villa Park shortly afterwards.
Villa was able to prevail against interest from Arsenal and Bayern Munich and complete the deal.
Onana will replace Douglas Luiz in Unai Emery’s midfield when the team competes in the Premier League and Europe this season.
3. Pedro Neto – Wolves to Chelsea: £51.4 million

6
Chelsea announced the signing of Neto during pre-season and continued to sign new players.
Neto joined the Blues from Wolves for £51.4 million to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s already fully-staffed squad.
The winger is said to have burst into tears as he left Wolves’ training ground and said goodbye to his teammates.
It was an emotional decision for him, but his entire focus will now be on finding a place in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge this season.
2. Leny Yoro – Lille to Manchester United: £52 million

6
The arrival of 18-year-old Yoro at Old Trafford is one of the biggest deals of the summer so far.
He followed Joshua Zirkzee through the door in his £52 million move to Manchester United.
The French centre-back was used in the pre-season and was expected to play an important role in Ten Hag’s team’s defence.
However, he has suffered an injury that will keep him out of action for the first few months of the season, delaying his competitive debut for the time being.
1. Dominic Solanke – Bournemouth to Tottenham: £65 million

6
Tottenham broke their transfer record this summer with the signing of Bournemouth striker Solanke.
Ange Postecoglou got his man for the proud sum of 55 million pounds up front, with additional services increasing the transfer fee to 65 million pounds.
Solanke has signed a six-year contract at the club after being rewarded with a move away following a brilliant last season.
He scored 19 goals in the Premier League, which was his best season in the top flight, and now he will be looking to repeat that form at Spurs.
