David Moyes would be a contender to replace Oliver Glasner as Crystal Palace boss if the Eagles decide to make a change in the dugout.
Glasner is under increasing pressure after Palace broke Palace’s longest winless start to a Premier League season with Monday’s 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Moyes is poised to return to management after leaving West Ham at the end of last season, offering the option of a fireman-like appointment to stave off looming relegation.
Palace owner Steve Parish has also long had a great admiration for unemployed former Chelsea manager Graham Potter.
Glasner still has credit in the bank at Parish after leading Palace to their best-ever Premier League finish of 10th place last season.
But with a home game against Tottenham on Saturday followed by a trip to Aston Villa, the Eagles could easily be looking at not winning any of their first ten games.
Kyle’s leaving?
Manchester City are unlikely to stand in Kyle Walker’s way if he decides to leave the club for one final payday at the end of the season.
England international Walker, who turns 35 in May, has attracted keen interest from Ivan Toney’s Saudi Arabian Pro League team Al-Ahli.
In addition to Roberto Firmino, his former Man City teammate Riyad Mahrez also plays there
Despite being club captain, veteran Walker is no longer guaranteed a starting place at the Etihad Stadium.
This is largely thanks to the excellent form of 19-year-old Three Lions team-mate Rico Lewis at the start of the season.
City also have a policy of not keeping players against their will and with his contract expiring in the summer of 2026, now is the time for Walker to seriously consider his next move.
Walker is not the only big-name City star whose future is uncertain, with midfielder Kevin De Bruyne also having offers from both Saudi Arabia and the MLS.

TalkSPORT understands Bournemouth are relaxed about the future of coveted Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo is catching the attention of the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham after an excellent start to the season.
The 24-year-old has publicly expressed his desire to one day play in the Champions League.
The Cherries only tied Semenyo to a new five-year contract in the summer.
This means the club can demand a high transfer fee for the former Bristol City player.
West Ham’s full mug regret?
West Ham are in the market for a new number 9 as concerns grow over the fitness of summer signing Niclas Fullkrug.
Since his £27million move from Borussia Dortmund, Fullkrug has only made three appearances as a substitute in the Premier League.

Technical director Tim Steidten’s decision to buy a 31-year-old with a poor injury history despite being praised for his performances at Euro 2024 raises doubts.
The Germany international wasn’t even on the bench in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham – it was the sixth game in a row he missed due to a persistent Achilles tendon problem.
In Fullkrug’s absence, Michail Antonio has led the team at the top, but coach Julen Lopetegui does not see a long-term solution in the Jamaican and is putting pressure on the hierarchy to dig in in January.
One potential target is Panathinaikos frontman Fotis Ioannidis, who was on the Hammers’ shortlist in the summer.
