Paul Pogba could soon be a free agent – but Spurs shouldn’t consider signing him.
That’s the view of The Pitch Prospect co-hosts Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist, who believe there is no chance Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou would sign him.

Pogba is expected to resume his career after his initial four-year doping ban was recently reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The 31-year-old, who was under contract with Juventus at the time of his conviction, will no longer remain with the Old Lady after an agreement was reached to terminate his contract on November 30.
It remains to be seen what the 2018 World Cup winner’s next move will be, with speculation rife that he has interest across Europe, America and the Middle East.
The Pitch Prospect understands he is not allowed to train with former employers Manchester United to get fit.
Pogba will be allowed to train with a club again from January and will be allowed to return to the pitch from March – 18 months after his last competitive game in September 2023.
With the rumor mill in full swing, The Pitch Prospect presenter Shebahn Aherne asked Brazil and McCoist on the breakfast show whether Spurs should bet on him as they need help.
A winner at United, Juventus and with France, Pogba would give Spurs some much-needed winning experience as they aim to win silverware for the first time since 2008.
However, it is safe to say that Aherne’s suggestion was not well received, with the retired Scotland strikers almost disgusted at the thought of the fantasy transfer.
The former Spurs Brazil center forward let out a loud groan before simply saying: “Oh dear.”
McCoist was also outraged, remarking, “Oh, no chance.”

“There has never been a player [that has] There were more “non-Ange” than Pogba.”
Aherne was shocked at his claim and replied: “I think he is.” [such an Ange player].
“Releasing the handbrake, attacking football, you saw his best side at Manchester United when he was able to do that.”
Shaking his head, McCoist replied, “Not a chance.”
Then Brazil interjected and said Pogba was a “busted flush”.
Rangers legend McCoist reiterated that the four-time Serie A winner would not be a good fit at Spurs as he said: “Big Ange, there’s no chance of him taking Pogba.”

To which Brazil insisted: “He can’t do that. “This will be the end…” with McCoist concluding his sentence with a joke: “…of civilization as we know it!”
Brazil continued: “Daniel [Levy, the Spurs chairman] will say, “No, no, no,” I don’t believe that.”
“He’s a huge question mark. You see what he’s done, you see what he can do, and yet you can trust him? No.”
Pogba recently told potential suitors that he remains hungry as ever in search of a return to previous heights before his suspension.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m still the same player but with a different hunger. I am more motivated. I’m hungrier.”
“I will appreciate the game more than before after it was taken away from me. I realized how important it was to me. I felt what life was like after a career.”
