Ipswich Town will be looking to build on a massive win over Chelsea when they take on Fulham in their first game of the new year.
The Tractor Boys travel to west London in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon after picking up their first home win of the season in their last game. The result brought them closer to safety, but Kieran McKenna’s side are still firmly in the relegation battle. Every item at Craven Cottage would be welcomed with open arms.
Fulham are unbeaten in seven games, but winning has not always been easy. They have drawn four of their last five Premier League games and sit just in the top half of the table as they continue to fly under the radar.

Fulham have only been beaten four times this season but have struggled at times against so-called ‘weaker’ opponents. Their 1-1 draw with Ipswich in the second leg is a perfect example, as the Cottagers occasionally lacked the relentless firepower to punish their opponents.
Ipswich have won two of their last four games and have been slightly better away than at home this season, potentially taking the chance to frustrate Fulham on Sunday. It will be a close game with probably not too many goals, but the visitors could get a crucial point to overcome the deficit.
