The Barclays Women’s Super League is making its impact off the pitch as much as it is on it, with fans now increasingly having the opportunity to live, breathe and celebrate their favorite teams and players.
Panini has had great success with its official WSL sticker collections, releasing a first album in 2023/24 that was so well received that it perfectly demonstrates the enormous thirst that exists in a cultural and gathering space for women’s club football.
The iconic Italian brand released the 2024/25 sticker collection in November and has now taken things a step further with the first WSL set of the popular Adrenalyn XL trading cards.
Nikki Doucet, Managing Director of Women’s Professional Leagues Ltd (WPLL), said: “…the fact that our players are simultaneously being celebrated in trading card form is another milestone for women’s football.”
The Adrenalyn XL collection includes 360 cards, including the essential Golden Ballers. Five of them can be found, including superstars Alessia Russo, Lauren James and Grace Clinton. The Rising Star, Debut and Game Changer categories also celebrate the league’s breakthrough talents.
Super Stoppers, World Class, Adrenalyn Rush, Midfield Engine and Defensive Rock are others to look out for, while there are also rare Crystal Crest cards and Limited Edition cards.

Collectors can start their collection with a starter pack that includes a binder, three packs, a limited edition card and a Golden Baller card.
