Real Madrid linked with huge Joshua Kimmich free transfer

Real Madrid are being linked with a big move for Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, whose contract in Germany is expiring, with conflicting reports suggesting the Spanish side’s interest in a transfer fee transfer.

Kimmich is in the final six months of his contract with Bayern, who have made no secret of their desire to sign the 29-year-old long-term and keep him as a leader in the dressing room.

However, there was no real progress in talks about new conditions and Kimmich is now free to negotiate a contract with foreign clubs.

PICTURE Kimmich is in active contact with Madrid, which would be the German international’s top priority if he does not extend his contract with Bayern.

What is crucial is that Bayern have not yet given up hope of keeping Kimmich and are planning further talks about a contract extension. However, Kimmich has already confirmed that he will not wait much longer to make a final decision about his next club.

Meanwhile over in Spain, MARCA Downplay the entire situation and emphasize that Madrid are not only not in contact with Kimmich, but also have no desire to do a deal with the midfielder.

Madrid have long been linked with Kimmich but do not see the 29-year-old as the right long-term signing. Similar to the links with Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk, the La Liga giants are on the lookout for younger additions.

Sky Germany Florian Plettenberg states that a contract extension with Bayern is the most likely outcome for Kimmich, whose family would like to stay in Munich, but the German star is keen to hear all options before making a final decision.
