Two struggling Premier League teams meet in north London on Sunday afternoon as Tottenham host Leicester.
While it was expected that the Foxes would struggle through the 2024/25 season after losing coach Enzo Maresca after returning to the top flight, only Arsenal fans would have expected Spurs to return after 22 games would be in 15th place in the table.
Ange Postecoglou’s league season was marred by numerous key injuries, but success in the cups gave the Australian coach enough rest. They secured a 3-2 win over Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday, but have been without a win in the Premier League since mid-December.
Leicester are in similarly poor league form. They have lost their last seven games under Ruud van Nistelrooy and questions have already emerged about the Dutchman’s future after he replaced Steve Cooper in November.
The guests are in 19th place in the table and have only gotten five points from their ten away league games.
Here is 90 minutes Guide to Sunday’s Premier League clash.

Postecoglou has confirmed that Dominic Solanke will be sidelined for the next six weeks with a knee injury, so Tottenham desperately need Richarlison to stay fit. The Brazilian is expected to take the lead again on Sunday.
Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence are both doubts, while the extent of Pape Sarr’s recent setback is unknown.
With Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson, Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario all out of action, there will be no major changes to the team that started against Hoffenheim on Thursday. Spence and Antonin Kinsky could come in.
Predicted line-up for Tottenham vs Leicester (4-3-3): Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Spence; Bentancur, Bergvall, Maddison; Kulusevski, Richarlison, son.
Leicester will soon be able to call on the services of Wilfred Ndidi after the Nigerian midfielder returned to training this week, but he is not expected to feature this Sunday.
Van Nistelrooy was also cautious about the possible return of goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, who has been out for weeks with a groin injury. The Dane could be back next month.
The guests will also be without long-term absentees Abdul Fatawu and Ricardo Pereira.
Predicted line-up for Leicester vs Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Kristiansen, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin; Winks, Soumare; Mavididi, El Khannouss, Buonanotte; Vardy.
Tottenham are exhausted but Leicester are terrible. The Van Nistelrooy era already seems to be coming to an end, even if the man himself recently put aside any fears about his future.
The Foxes’ main task on Sunday is to stay in the game for as long as possible. Spurs will be strong and will look to build a healthy lead before tiring late. Can this error-prone Leicester defense line keep the hosts at bay? It seems unlikely.
We expect Tottenham to be able to overtake their visitors early on, but the second half is likely to be a real challenge. Luckily they face a Leicester team who haven’t featured in their last two games.
