The Brazilian moved to Riad in the summer of 2023 for an astonishing fee of € 90 million (£ 75 million) at Paris Saint-Germain. According to reports, Neymar earned € 100 million (86.4 million GBP) per year, but suffered a serious knee injury in the international service in October 2023.
The 32-year-old returned to the field after a 370-day release at the beginning of this season and continued to fight for full fitness. Manager Jorge Jesus revealed that Neymar would not be registered for the second half of the season as one of the non-Saudi players who are approved in the club league squad and paved the way for his departure, which was confirmed on Monday.

The Brazilian opened his former employers, who saw him only scored a goal. “All at Al Hilal, to the fans, thank you,” wrote Neymar.
“To Saudi, thank you for giving me and my family a new home and new experiences. I now know the real Saudi and have friends for life. I always felt your love and passion for the game.”
Neymar closed his post with an allusion to the controversial Status of Saudi Arabia as a world championship host in the coming years. “I will stop your trip as a club and country around 2034,” added the Brazilian. “Your future will be incredible, special things happen. And I will always support you !!!”
The BBC are one of many outlets that reports that Neymar is about to agree with a short -term contract with his first professional club, Santos. The club president of the Brazilian rival Palmeiras brutally showed the rumors that they were interested in the striker that is prone to injury because “this club is not a medical department”.
Inter Miami boss Javier Mascherano also raised the opportunity to sign Neymar in January.
