Barcelona warned as Dani Olmo registration fiasco takes new twist

Javier Tebas, President of La Liga, has confirmed that you are working on lifting Dani Olmo’s emergency registration near Barcelona.

Olmo looked his first registration on December 31 and rejected Barcelona’s attempts to register the midfielder again, and pointed out the league rule, which said that no player removed and in the squad in the squad every season a club can be initiated.

Barcelona argued that they had proven their financial ability to register Olmo again.

“We are against his registration and give the necessary organization the corresponding resources,” said Tebas. “We ask that he is not logically registered.

“If we believe that he should not be registered, we obviously believe that we have the chance that he will not be registered.”

Several La League clubs complained about the decision to award Barcelona a new registration for Olmo -a feeling that Tebas seems to have agreed with.

“You are right,” he said. “If we as a league submit the corresponding appeals, it is because we believe that a decision was not made in accordance with the law as it should be.”

However, Tebas admitted that clubs cannot deny Barcelona’s results with Olmo in the team, even if he is violently deregistered.

“In the field of the sports law, when a player has a license and at that moment Dani Olmo has a license to play, a game cannot be questioned, even if you can prevail in our favor later,” he concluded.
