Chloe Kelly joins Arsenal on loan from WSL rivals Man City

Chloe Kelly has completed a loan from Manchester City to the former Club Arsenal.

Kelly, England’s European Championship hero in 2022, had fallen badly in the blue half of Manchester and will now end the 2024/25 campaign with red, and at this point your contract will take place with city.

The 27-year-old showed the interest of Brighton & Hove Albion to seal her move, although the late arsenal interest was surprising after she initially looked as if Manchester United was signing it. Kelly has a populated personal life in the northwest, but was born in the capital and grows up, whereby the Arsenal Academy started as a young ranks as a teenager and celebrated its debut in the first team at the age of 17 in 2015.

“Chloe is an exciting attack player and will be a great addition to our squad when we approach the second half of the season,” said Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers.

“She is direct and explosive, with great natural talent and skills. We are all looking forward to working with Chloe as Arsenal player in the coming months.”

Kelly had gone on social media on Wednesday evening to put her frustration about the situation in which she was in City, and her wishes to leave the club initially blocked.

“If the euro approaches quickly, this summer is a major role and I would like to be able to give myself the best shot to represent my country,” she said in this post.

“Too dictate who I can only connect four months in the football season and what I don’t just have on my career through my mental well -being.”

The full -back Laura Wienro has also loan from Arsenal.
