The 2025 winter transfer window has come and gone, and clubs across Europe have redesigned their teams in front of the toughest half of the campaign.
While PSR affects a number of pages, there was still a lot of excitement in the winter window. The legends, which included some of the greatest names of the game, kept us entertained, but some were nothing because the scenes of backdrops had withdrawn into a flood of prominent players.
Here are five players who missed winter transfers.
The sight of Marc Guiu, who came from the Chelsea bank on Monday evening against West Ham United, spoke volumes of Christopher Nkunkus situation on Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman is firmly outside of Enzo Maresca’s thoughts, but despite considerable interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United, more than 60 million pounds in West -London remains after the price of Chelsea.
Nkunku now has six months to force himself back into the start of Chelsea, which had to do with keeping his value as high as possible before it will almost certainly be a summer departure.
It seemed almost certain that Alejandro Garnacho would not be a Manchester United player at the time of the window.
With countless reports in which he emphasized his potential availability, Garnacho was advertised as Napoli’s preferred replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the change of £ 59 million to Paris Saint-Germain gave the series a significant chance of making a deal. However, United was certain and asked for £ 70 million to agree to a sale.
Napoli built and allowed Chelsea to enter the race. The blues love to spend more money than they should for wingers, and the latter seemed to be even more likely when reports about a swap deal with NKunku appeared. However, the window has closed and both players stay at home.
Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund wanted to offer Oleksandr Zinchenko the opportunity to reduce his career from Arsenal this month.
The square of Ukraine International under Mikel Areteta seemed to go away when Riccardo Calafiori joined in the summer, and the emergence of academy midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly as a practical option for the left-back, Zinchenko has only pushed the ladder below.
Zinchenko is now the third choice in the position and looks over the rest of the season for a serious fight for a serious fight, but hey, at least he remains ahead of the soon -to -be Kieran Terney.
If Barcelona needs money, you can guarantee that Andreas Christensen is connected to an outcome. This was definitely the case this month when the La Liga team tried to finance an ambitious loan for Marcus Rashford.
The teams of the Premier League began to connect – Manchester United and Newcastle United were both connected – but nothing is really about, and Christensen is in an immense struggle to regain a regular starting place.
Hansi Flick has rejuvenated Inigo Martinez next to the young Pau Comatsi, while Ronald Araujo seems to be in line for a return to the squad. If Christians are fourth in the ranking list, he could be there for a long season.
Douglas Luiz was one of the most sought -after midfielder in Europe when he left Aston Villa in summer. Juventus won the race for his signature and separated from over £ 40 million to transform the Brazilian into a rotation option.
With just three starts in Serie A this season, Luiz Stark was connected with a return to England. Manchester City wanted to borrow him again, as did Chelsea, and there were even speculative connections to Man UTD late in the window, but there was never anything.
Expect that this will reappear in the summer if clubs have more money and Juventus will be more appropriate with their requirements.
