David Alaba suffers fresh injury blow soon after Real Madrid comeback

The Real Madrid defender David Alaba was down Injury Retirement less than three weeks after his long-awaited comeback from the ACL-Reha.

Alaba tore the front cruciate ligament in his left knee in December 2023 and was missing for 13 months during the recovery process. He played in four Madrid games from the bank in the last two weeks of January, but has now played a new problem.

In a short explanation on Tuesday morning, Madrid confirmed that tests had been carried out, which indicated an Adductor muscle injury to the player’s left thigh. There is no official time frame for the probable recovery phase or the severity of the problem.

With Jesus Vallejo, who apparently not familiar by Carlo Ancelotti, Antonio Rudiger once again leaves it as the only available senior citizen defender. Aurelien Tchouameni continued his role as an emergency system 1-0 against Espanyol of the weekend during the surprise. Raul Ascio has been promoted to the first team from the Castilla squad in recent months to cover the defect.

Madrid decided against immersing himself in the window transfer market to recruit a defender, apparently satisfied that Alaba was on the way back to full fitness. The club was even overturned to bring a central defender in summer because Militao is faster than expected relaxation.
