Fran Garagarza, Sports Director of Espanyol, has admitted that the Arsenal goal, Joan Garcia, could leave this summer, even if a club does not trigger its release clause.
After the sale of backup goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale last summer, Arsenal Garcia was targeting, but was thrown back in the window with a bid of € 20 million, which instead triggered a loan step for Bournemouth’s Neto.
After Neto’s loan in summer, Arsenal is expected to develop her interest in Garcia again this summer. The 23-year-old contract includes a release clause of € 25 million (£ 20.7 million), which in the last 15 days of the transmission window increases to € 30 million (€ 24.8 million).
