According to reports, Manchester United has reportedly appointed the interim director of recruitment Christopher Vivell as a permanent “multi -year contract” as hierarchical adjustments to Old Trafford.
Vivell, formerly from Chelsea, temporarily came to United last summer to work together with a new team of sports providers, including Dan Ashworth and Jason Wilcox.
The athlete writes that Vivell, who had previously reported to Ashworth, will report to Wilcox. His new agreement with United is intended to include a reduced salary, which means that both the club’s commitment to further reduce the costs in view of a new round of job losses and his wish to participate.
Vivell’s permanent appointment seems to reduce the likelihood of Ashworth, which was released in December and has now reappeared in voluntary advice in the Warwickshire County Cricket Club and was soon replaced directly.
Between Wilcox, more responsibility has taken place in his technical director since Ashworth, who was selected last year as the first sports director of United.
Ashworth was highly viewed after successful spells with West Bromwich Albion, England, Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United, but only took five months after it turned out that he was not what co -owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe had expected from him.
Before Chelsea, Vivell also worked at RB Leipzig, a club with a renowned reputation, to discover unknown raw talents and develop players. Monitoring scouting is a significant part of what the German will bring to United. Everywhere you are increasingly interested in spending large quantities for transfers that do not offer long -term returns.
