Antony’s Man Utd future plans revealed by Real Betis CEO

The Real Betis manager Ramon Alarcon claimed that Antony has strived to continue the Spanish team beyond this current season.

Antony ended with Manchester United to Betis during the winter transmission window, which does not contain the option for permanent transmission. At the end of the season, he is back in Old Trafford, where his contract runs until 2027.

If Betis wants to keep Antony, you have to negotiate again with United. According to Alarcon, this wants to happen exactly.

“The other day Antony told me that he wanted to stay for another year,” said Alarcon Channel.

“The player is very comfortable here and was surprised by the facilities we gave him to settle down in the city as soon as he arrived.”

Antony enjoyed a hot start in Betis and scored three goals and two templates in seven games. United boss Ruben Amorim has helped the 25-year-old to settle the difference in physicality between La Liga and the Premier League.

A summer departure from United remains on the cards, although Antony’s agent has insisted that the door has not yet been firmly closed by those responsible.
