Arsenal & Liverpool add Bundesliga striker to summer shortlist

Arsenal and Liverpool were both attributed to a constant interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekikats.

The two heavyweights of the Premier League are among the numerous pages that want to sign a well -known striker this summer. Benjamin Sesko by Alexander Isak and RB Leipzig from Newcastle United are expensive destinations for a number of top teams.

With the competition for an elite striker who is so violent this year, clubs may have to become creative with their list of goals and become creative Foot Mercato State Arsenal and Liverpool did exactly that by reinforcing their scouting to Ektiten, which had already been identified as a cheaper alternative to Isak.

Ekitics was considered one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe when he came to Paris Saint-Germain in 2022 after he had been heavily persecuted by Newcastle United, but he tried to establish himself in the French capital and came to Frankfurt in 2024 to repeat his career.

Ektiten has just 22 years old and did exactly that. This season he scored 18 goals in all competitions – form that Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham United caught in the eye.

Frankfurt was already redeemed for Big Money in 2025 for Omar Marmoush. It is known that he is willing to sell one of her top assets at the right price and would stay with Ekismen, but this summer offers offers of around € 80 million (£ 67.2 million).

In a recent interview with L’EquipeEkitics promised his commitment to Frankfurt, but admitted that he now felt better prepared to bring his talents into one of the Europe’s elite.

“I have experience now and scored goals,” he said. “I concentrate on my club, but I know that I will be better prepared than before.”
