Barcelona’s coach, Hansi Flick, believes that Raphinha “could have a shot” if you win this year’s balloon.
Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe are among the early favorites of the most prestigious unit price of world football in 2025, but Raphhinha has developed into a surprising but valid competitor due to its phenomenal form for Barcelona.
The Brazilian winger, who even headed the team at the beginning of this season, when Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong still drove, scored 25 goals and achieved 18 templates in 40 appearances in all competitions (43 overall direct participation).
And yet Barcelona Raphinha would have replaced in a heartbeat last summer if her sensitive finances would have made it possible for you to hire Euro 2024 Breakout star Nico Williams.
“If he cuts off well this season, he could have a shot,” said Flick this week.
“He always contributes immensely, and when you look at the goals he has achieved, it shows its determination. They can see how focused. I am satisfied with his level of play.”
One of the biggest performance by Raphinha this season was a goal and helped with a 4-0 demolition by Real Madrid in October Clasico, two more goals and a template against Barca’s most violent rivals in the Supercopa de Espana final and a Champions League Hat trick against Bavaria Munich.
The last Barcelona player who won the Ballon d’Or was Lionel Messi in 2019, although since then the blue grana icon has been awarded twice since the spells in Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami.
Messi received the Ballon d’Om or six times as Barcelona player between 2009 and 2019.
