The chief coach of Chelsea, Sonia Bombastor, has confirmed that Keira Walsh, Naomi Girmala and Guro will ride against Manchester City all the final of the subway Women’s League’s Cup on Saturday.
Girma, who wrote a world record contract during the transfer window in January, had her debut in Chelsea after an injury in the 2-2 draw of the team with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Blues head coach Bombastor said that girmal will not be fit in City this weekend and will be rated “week after week”.
The midfielder Keira Walsh with lion women will also miss the showdown on Saturday, but Bombastor has confirmed that her return is imminent. As for Star striker Guro riding, the head coach says that she will last “longer” and will probably not play before the international break at the end of March.
Bombastor also presented an update about Sam Kerr, who had been out of operation for 15 months after she had broken her front cruciate ligament in January 2024.
The Blues head coach has confirmed that Kerr was called in the squad for the KO -Phase of the Champions League, which means that the American striker Mia Fishel looks.
“I made the decision, I spoke to my players. Sam Kerr will be the one in the Champions League squad, and Mia Fishel will not be in the squad for the Champions League this season.
