Bruno Fernandes admitted that it was difficult to hear Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who describe some players in the squad as “overpaid” and “not well enough”.

Head coach Amorim asked his United squad to improve the comments from Ratcliffe as a fuel to improve, and on Thursday he will be enthusiastic about the results as a emphatic victory over La Real to advance the Red Devils to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
