Tottenham Hotspur is not expected to bring Timo Werner into a third season after a bad campaign of 2024/25 in a third season that has not yet achieved a single Premier League goal.
Werner, who had previously been referred to as a flop during a disappointing magic in Chelsea, initially escaped Spurs last season. This short -term deal was then extended to a complete loan in the summer in the summer before this campaign.
But the German international, who has made an average of almost 24 goals per season in importance at RB Leipzig over four years, has failed to do so on a fighting Spurs page.
Werner launched only four games of the Premier League this season and has only played football in January since a thigh injury.
Spurs have an inexpensive option to make Werner a constant recruit, but Sky Sport Germany ‘S Florian Plettenberg has announced that the club does not intend to pay the € 12 million (€ 10 million).
This means that Werner, now 29, will return to Leipzig at the end of the season.
The upcoming options are that he can stay in Leipzig or continue. The earlier route will probably depend on who will be responsible in the next season. Bad form since the end of October – there are only five victories from the last 18 league games – could change the current boss Marco Rose.
According to Plettenberg, Werner is “not inclined” to move within the Bundesliga. But there are “concrete inquiries” from the not named Premier League clubs and those in the Major League Soccer.
Another English team that takes over the striker would be a considerable gambling after he has now missed the desired influence in two different clubs. Werner’s Total -League -goal has only 23 years old for Leipzig in the Bundesliga in the Bundesliga in 2019/20.
