The Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has once again put off questions about his future and confirmed his love for the city of its current employers.
The 25-year-old was one of Newcastle’s Heroes when she ended a 70-year waiting period for a domestic trophy on Sunday and which the leaders of the Premier League, Liverpool defeated in the Carabao Cup final in Wembley 2-1.
Isak achieved his 23rd goal of the season in all competitions in the Premier League-to bring the game beyond Liverpool’s reach, which gives goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher with an excellent first finish that entered the lower corner.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona were relentlessly connected to Isak, which will surpass the 25 goals that he scored last season in order to sign a first -class center that can become the center of their team in the coming years.
It is believed that Liverpool has had talks with the representatives of Isak about a potential step, while Arsenal identified the Swedes as a “priority goal”.
ISAK spoke about a transfer in the list of Newcastle’s important Carabao Cup Triumph, but these answers satisfied the assembled journalists who are preparing for, Sweden’s international friendly with Luxembourg, which are intended for Saturday.
In fact, Isak again answered questions about his future, in which he was not surprisingly doubled to his love for Newcastle, while he reaffirmed that his focus on what was taking place on the field, and not outside the side.
“There is really not much to say. I commented on my situation and security in Newcastle several times,” said Isak. “It was written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I don’t think of the future. I just want to appear for Newcastle.
“Now we have won the trophy, but we want to end strongly and reach the Champions League games. My focus is there.
“There is no reason for me to think about anything else (except Newcastle). I enjoy myself incredibly well in Newcastle. The only focus I have is on playing.”
Only Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland scored more goals from the Premier League this season than Isak, who after his first season in St. James’ Park as one of the best finisher of the World Football-who followed a club record transfer in the summer of 2022 was derailed by injuries.
