Pau Cubarsi

Spain is without Barcelona’s brain defender Pau Crubarsi after the boy was withdrawn in the first leg due to an ankle injury. It was replaced by Dean Huijsen and the impressive Bournemouth Teenager, who was connected to some of the largest clubs in the continent, should earn a first start.

Robin Le Normand could also miss a knock, but Spain is confident that it is good to go.

The established midfield trio by Martin Zubimendi, Pedri and Fabian Ruiz will guard the backline, while Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams -the latter score a goal on Thursday -will play both sides by Skipper Alvaro Morata.

Spain predicted the line-up against the Netherlands (4-3-3): Simon; Porro, Le Normand, Huijsen, Cucurella; Pedri, Zubimendi, Ruiz; Yamal, Morata, Williams.

The Dutch will be without the services of young HATO after he was shown a straight red card against Spain on Thursday evening, which Koeman forced to defend. Lutsharel Geertruida can exchange flanks to replace the left -back.

Xavi Simons should come into the starting line -up on the right wing, but it is unlikely that there are other changes in the forward line. Cody Gakpo scored on Thursday and Justin Kluivert helped to attack the midfield. Memphis Depay should lead the line again after returning to the squad.

The Netherlands predicted the line-up against Spain (4-2-3-1): Bugge; Frimpong, van Hecke, van Dijk, Geertruida; Reijnders, de Jong; Simons, Kluivert, Gakpo; Memphis.

In view of the lengthy, unbeaten run of Spain – consisting of 14 wins from 17 games without defeat – it would not be a surprise that La Roja leads to the final four, especially in view of the home advantage for the second leg.

In the best times, the Netherlands are shaky in defense and are behind after injuries, while they also miss the influential Ryan Gravenberch in defensive midfield due to injuries.

Spain’s attacking stars should get some joy in Valencia and be at the top.

Prediction: Spain 2-1 Netherlands
