Arne Slot sends warning to Liverpool players over Premier League title race

Arne Slot, manager of Liverpool, has warned that the failure of seeing the Premier League challenge this season until completion could “follow” his players for the rest of her life.

Slot has exceeded all expectations to set Liverpool in 35 years in his first season in the club only one title of the second division.

The Reds have a lead of 12 points compared to the next competitor Arsenal with only nine games that are still to be played, but a wobbling recently equipped in the form of Champions League in the Carabao Cup final is enough to take it into account too early to celebrate them.

Liverpool also reduced the Premier League points against Everton and Aston Villa last month, both sides of a less than convincing victory over wolves. Fortunately, Arsenal has so far not managed to benefit only one of her last four league games.

“I know how it works. If you do not pick up trophies as a manager or as a player, it can follow them for decades,” said Slot in a new book after his career.

“Of course I would like to win as many games as possible – but I also want to stay in memory of people. In my opinion, that’s a trophy in itself.”

Liverpool from all other competitions in the last season is what a blessing in the disguise could be. In March and April, the hopes of the Red Red, Jürgen Klopp’s last campaign to mark with a four -time diverse, ultimately collapsed in March and April.

There are no further distractions outside the Premier League, whereby five victories from the nine remaining games will probably be sufficient, since far -superior gates difference, even in the unlikely case that Arsenal maintains a perfect record from now on.
