England scored two wins in the Thomas Tuchel era with a controlled 3-0 win against Latvia on Monday evening.
England dominated the property continuously, but had to wait in spite of 17 goals in the first half until a breathtaking free kick by Reece James was embedded in the top corner of the Latvia seven minutes before the break.
Harry Kane knocked home for a second 68 minutes before Eberechi Eze came from the bank to bring a third home and give the result a little more flair.
With the perfect start to the qualification, England ends the international break in the K group and builds some momentum in front of the next camp in June when they travel to Andorra before a friendly against Senegal.
