The central defender of Tottenham Hotspur, Cristian Romero, pointed out the displeasure of how the club dealt with its injury problems at the beginning of this season.
Romero has recently returned to fitness after missing most of the last four months with problems with ankle, toes and knee tendons. This absence, combined with many others, was also a main reason why the club has been on course for 20 years for a worst Premier League degree.
Manager has the print Poseteclou, who was unable to call his best team.
Romero played 90 minutes of Argentina’s qualification victory against Uruguay, only his second full game since November 10th. However, his praise for the medical department of the national team can also be interpreted as bleak.
“I didn’t have a good month because it was an injury that I could have returned much earlier,” Romero told reporters in Montevideo.
“I am always grateful that the national team of the national team could get me out of this bad moment and bring me back on the field, which I like to do.”
AS The journalist Eduardo Burgos went so far that Romero was “deeply angry” how Tottenham dealt with the injury and that “trouble brewing”.
The 26-year-old is a vice captain at Spurs, but speculation about the transmission interest of Real Madrid begins to start building. The European Champions have not recruited a central defender since 2022, and Eder Militao was the last central defender who arrived at a fee more than half a decade ago. This approach has returned to bite it this season and a signing is expected.
Romero is obviously a Spanish native speaker, but his previous career as a senior club after a breakthrough on the Argentine side of Belgrano was spent in Italy and England.
