Viktor Gyokoker may be the leading goal scorer in 2024 – but Arsenal and Manchester United should stay away from him.
This is the opinion of the ex-Watford striker Troy Deeney, who believes that the Swedish international would not win any of the two teams in the Premier League.

Gyokoker has been one of the deadliest strikers in Europe since the exchange of Coventry with Sporting Lisbon in 2023.
In his first season in Portugal, he found the back of the network 43 times in all competitions and shot sport in her first league title in three years.
And he continued his good shape in this campaign, in which he scored 42 goals in all competitions from so many games.
With 62 goals for club [52] and country [ten] In 2024, the 26-year-old was crowned as the world’s best scorer in the last calendar year.
After Gyokoker established himself as a goal machine, he was strongly due to the Estadio Jose Alvalade in 2025.
Despite the ex-Brighton man with a publication clause of around 85 million pounds in his contract, Talksport understands that Sporting enables him to arrive around £ 58.5 million.
Arsenal is one of the teams that observe a summer strike for the player who identified him as a cheaper alternative to Newcastle’s Alexander Isak.
Mikel Areta has brought a center forward with the lack of options with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus to his top priority with serious injuries.
In the meantime, it is also assumed that United keeps an eye on the striker in a deal, in which he would reunite himself with the former boss Ruben Amorim in Old Trafford.
But both the Red Devils and the Gunners warned by Deeney that Gyokoker is not the right player for them.

In conversation with Talksport.com, Deeney was asked who would fit the player from Arsenal and United better.
To what he recognized that what he wanted to say may seem to be controversial.
He said, “You know when you say something that the clip will return in six months.
“I really think he’s a good footballer, he works really hard, all of that.
“But I don’t think he’s a natural finisher.
“And again, everyone will pull up his torrecord, I understand that.

“But I don’t think he takes one of these two to win the Premier League.
“This is just my opinion, and if he did it, they would have already bought it.”
And Deeney is also of the opinion that Gyokeres’ edition would be nothing like it was in Portugal if he would connect to a top team.
The former Birmingham striker compared the player to Darwin Nunez, who scored 34 goals in Benfica last year before he came to Liverpool in 2022.
In his third season in the Premier League, Nunez scored more than eleven goals in the league – and has only five strikes for the leaders this season.
He discussed the quality in Portugal and noticed: “It is not the same league (as the top English class).

“And we will find out when Gyokeres come by.”
Arsenal fans – and Arteta – looked at the club’s meeting in the club’s meeting at Sporting Gyokoker.
Gyokokoker met the post late in the encounter, but was powerless to prevent his side from losing 5-1.
Although he showed his class against Manchester City at the beginning of the month-in a famous 4-1 win in a hat trick.
Since Gyokoker does not show any signs of slowing down, it is certainly only a matter of time before the player tests himself in the Premier League.
And only then can we see whether Deeney will have the last laugh or is forced to eat modest cakes.
