Xabi Alonso’s final Real Madrid decision revealed by Bayer Leverkusen chief

Bayer Leverkusen is confident that Xabi Alonso will not leave the club this summer in the middle of the left to Real Madrid.

Alonso has developed as one of the leading coaches in Europe since his first senior manager appearance in 2022.

He delivered Leverkusen’s first Bundesliga title with an unbeaten season last May and won the DFB Cup and came within a game of a perfect panties after being beaten in the final of the Europa League of Atalanta – her only defeat in a competition.

Alonso decided on the last summer at Leverkusen and rejected Liverpool and Bayern Munich’s interest. But even though his team came back behind Bavaria in Germany, the Spaniard is associated with top jobs.

One of them is Real Madrid, who comes against Carlo Ancelotti against the background of shock uncertainty. His contract, which was signed at a time in 2023 when Brazil surrounded him very publicly, runs until 2026. But this season Madrid is with a hard fight for the La Liga and the brochure on a new challenge in this phase of his career at least plausible this month that he has spent speculation about fresh contact with Brazilian federation this month.

If Ancelotti is in motion this summer and creates an immediate place in Bernabeu, Leverkusen Sporting Director Simon Rolfes announced that Alonso will not fill it.

“No, he stays,” Rolfes insisted in an interaction with German media.

“He told me that there was nothing. He has a contract with us.”

This contract with Leverkusen is good until 2026. While he probably excludes a step to Madrid this summer, the Saga could start anywhere when Ancelotti leaves the Spanish capital.
