Ruben Amorim addresses potential Man Utd returns for Marcus Rashford & Antony

The head coach of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, announced that he is “really happy” to see Marcus Rashford and Antony borrowed this year, but refused to show whether both would ever play for the club again.

Rashford and Antony fought to establish themselves under Amorim after the Portuguese coach’s arrival in November. While the Brazilian striker was ultimately loaned to Real Betis, Rashford made himself from Amorim to Aston Villa after the exile.

Every striker has started strongly in his new and theoretically temporary environment. It was only last weekend Rashford scored twice to send Villa to the FA Cup semi-final, while Antony Betis won her first League derby against Sevilla in almost seven years.

The remaining strikers of United have to fight in comparison and this week was brought to Amorim whether there were future future for the successful Loanees in the club.

“I know Rashford really well and everyone knows the talent he has,” said Amorim, before he is pointed and “He is a top player, if he wants. So I’m not surprised. And as I said, Antony is the same, with Antony, it’s a good thing.

Amorim was urged to return to Old Trafford. “People, let’s concentrate on the game,” he emphasized. “We are very happy about our players who are well loan.”

When the topic emerged again, Amorim added cryptically: “I plan the future, but I don’t want to talk about the future at that moment.”

Villa boss Unai Emery recently announced that no decision was made to make Rashford’s loans permanently. According to reports that were initially respected for around 40 million GBP, it is proposed that United will urge a price of 60 million GBP.

Real Betis was more open to keeping Antony, although the economic reality of a permanent deal could make this impossible – especially if Manuel Pellegrini’s team is not qualified for the Champions League. The club’s talisman playmaker, Isco, joked this weekend that the team should hold a fundraiser to finance Brazil’s wages for another season.
