Mikel Arteta makes Bukayo Saka starting XI decision

The Arsenal manager Mikel Areta resisted the urge to start the returning Bukayo Saka against Fulham on Tuesday evening, and instead called the fit-up wing player on the bench.

Saka had triggered Arsenal’s earlier 12 Premier League games with a torn thigh. The Gunners fell 11 points in this three -month spell to end their inclination in the title of Premier League despite the Liverpool’s own fights.

Injuries to Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have strengthened Saka’s absence, but none of Arsenal’s striker can express their influence with their talismanic wing player.

Areta triumphantly explained that Saka was “ready to go” in front of the London Derby on Tuesday, and unveiled that the club had to “hold back” as it was to return at an earlier time.

This precaution has expanded to this round of the Premier League. Saka was mentioned as a replacement against the huts together with other wings Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling. While Martinelli took up his familiar position on the left wing and Mikel Merino repeated his role as a provisional striker, Arsenal’s teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri was taken into the XI in front of Saka on the right wing.

The Fleetfuß striker celebrated his 18th birthday by celebrating his debut for the English U21 team during the international break. Three days later, the amazing youngster scored his first goal for this specific age group in a 4-2 victory over Portugal.

Nwaneri has made 15 goals for club and land this season – six more than Saka. However, there is hardly any doubt that the seniorf figure is still the option of Arteteta when everyone fully fits.

Sakas Square on the bench is probably a episode of the quarterfinal of the Champions League against Real Madrid next week. The defending European champions travel eight days later on Tuesday, April 8, on Tuesday, April 8th before the second leg in Spain. In view of the top title, which has effectively decided and decided the Champions League qualification, Arsenals will certainly focus on it on the first European Cup. A fit and fired Bukayo Saka would make this ambition much better.

(4-3-3): David Raya; Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel, Myles Lewis-Skelly; Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Declan Rice; Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino, Gabriel Martinelli
