Manchester United is said to have strengthened their interest In Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, who also has several other Premier League applicants.
United is on the market for a center this summer that is not missing in this position. Rasmus Hojlund fought for goals this season, while Joshua Zirkzee was increasingly suitable for one of the somewhat deeper “number ten” roles in Ruben Amorim’s system.
All types of strikers have been associated, including Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitens, Dusan Vlahovic and Viktor Gyokokeres, of which the latter has a “friendship pact” with Amorim, who may not be sufficient to bring the productive Swede to Alte Trafford.
Delap also belonged to this number with the Daily Mail Now explained that “further discussions” were guided internally about the English U21 international.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United show interest, but an advantage for the Red Devils is the presence of the technical director Jason Wilcox. He used to be an Academy Director when Delap came through the ranks in the city.
There were similar hopes for Wilcox and Southampton Wing player Tyler Dischbling.
Delap, although she was extremely raw with just one Premier League season, was impressed by a fighting Ipswich page. A ten league gate is better than any other player.
Since the descent from Ipswich stares in the face, it is reported that Delap will be available for a fixed release clause with 40 million GBP, which is considerably cheaper than Ekikte or Gyokoker.
United is ready to derive Marcus Rashford for a similar amount, be it to borrow the Aston Villa or another. In the meantime, Jadon Sancho will connect Chelsea, unless the blues pays a fee of 5 million GBP to break the commitment clause in the loan contract last summer. But United would still want to sell Sancho permanently if this turn in the saga would happen.
