Jürgen Klopp admitted his excitement to be connected to the LFC Foundation again next month.
The legendary former Reds leader became the first honorary ambassador of the charity when he left the club last summer after working closely with the LFC Foundation during his time on Merseyside for several years.
It was recently announced that Klopp should be released on May 23 at the upcoming Gala Ball of the organization, since he was also invited to the last home game of the Reds of the Premier League against Crystal Palace two days later.
Klopp confirmed the appearance in charity and said to Liverpool Media: “Everyone knows how much I love the work of the LFC Foundation, and I can hardly wait to join them to celebrate this work and collect important means for them so that they continue the incredible things they do.”
Matt Parish, Managing Director of the LFC Foundation, added: “We look forward to this year’s Gala Ball and are pleased that Jürgen will join us to support the event.
“Jürgen was a fantastic lawyer for our work during his time in the club and we appreciate his persistent support and hope that as many people as possible have an unforgettable night and the opportunity to collect donations so that we can support even more people in our communities and support Reds forever.”
Liverpool’s confirmation of the publication does not contain any details of a possible Anfield return for Klopp, which has already promised to take part in the Premier League title celebrations.
The German, who is now working as Red Bull’s head of global football, has previously admitted that he hesitated and admitted to a Matchday return that he does not want the players “Jinx” while trying to raise the trophy.
At the moment, 11 points are clear that Liverpool will be confirmed as a Premier League master with seven games until the season finale.
