Manchester City explores a surprising step Sign Tottenham Hotspur left -back Udogie this summer, according to a report.
City wanted a new full-back in the January Transfer window and was strongly associated with a change for Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus, which stays on the radar in the summer.
With Liverpool, which is also enthusiastic about Cambiaso, City creates a list of possible alternatives and Fabrizio Romano Name Udogie as a goal.
The in-depth sports director Hugo Viana is said to be a big fan of Udogie and City, “carefully follow” the 22-year-old not to lose the Spurs incredibly.
Udogie beat the Flying full -back last season last season – he is one of many players who have suffered a drastic slump this year – and recognize Spurs as one of the most important young players in the squad.
The city is not an illusion about how difficult a deal for Udogie would be, especially in view of its stretch of contract until 2030, but they are still interested in exploring one step and will hope that Spurs’ domestic battles that they can leave in the Premier League classification in 14th place, to contribute to persuading themselves.
It is believed that Udogie is appealing due to its ability to play on both sides of the defense, although Spurs fans still see many evidence that he has any trust with his right foot.
The right -back is assumed as a primary area for City who are willing to replace Kyle Walker in the probable event.
City boss Pep Guardiola has used midfielder Matheus Nunes as a preferred right-back in the past few weeks and admits that it is a permanent change of position because the Portugal is “not smart enough” to play in the middle of the field.
