Man Utd give promising Amad Diallo injury update

Manchester United gave the fans a reason to be enthusiastic about Amad Diallo because the wing player continues his recovery from an ankle injury that he suffered in February.

It was feared at the time that Amad would no longer play this season.

The Ivorer had become an important actor under Ruben Amorim who was a marginal player for the predecessor Erik Ten Hag. In 15 games, 15 combined goals and templates in the Premier League, in the Europa League and in the Carabao Cup form in 15 games.

But the 23-year-old has not played more since February 7th when United defeated in the FA Cup Leicester City.

After Amorim gave a positive update at the beginning of this month, the club has now shared pictures of Amad that set up its training pollution.

“He’s doing pretty well,” said Amorim Mut. “We hope to have it before the season is finished. We’ll see, but he is excited to play, so let’s wait for him.”

Since Amorim’s arrival in November, Amad has filled two different roles for United, which are used both as a wing house and one of the shared “number” in the tactical system of the Portuguese trainer.

United have to struggle with injuries throughout the season, although there is hope that the crisis loosens. Mason Mount, a player who was able to thrive under Amorim, did successive replacement appearances after months with a thigh problem, while Luke Shaw also returned to the bench for the Manchester Derby last weekend.

Kobbie Mainoo is another return that is named in the Traveling Squad for the Europa -League conflict with Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday evening. But Amorim emphasized that she must continue to be “careful”.

Matthijs de Ligt, Ayden Heaven, Jonny Evans and Toby Collyer are missing, and Lisandro Martinez will not be expected from an ACL injury until next season.
