Newcastle boss Eddie Howe taken to hospital


Newcastle United has confirmed that Eddie Howe was taken to the hospital and will miss the Premier League on Sunday with Manchester United.

In a Newcastle declaration, it was explained that Howe had felt uncomfortable and was taken to the hospital for treatment on Friday evening.

Co -coach Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones will take over the joint charges of Newcastle for the game in St. James’ Park.

“The head coach of the Magpies was hospitalized late Friday evening after he felt uncomfortable for a few days,” was Newcastle’s explanation.

“Eddie kept the medical staff in the hospital overnight to achieve further tests.

“Everyone at Newcastle United expands Eddie’s best wishes for a quick relaxation, and further updates will follow in due course.”

Howe recently delivered Newcastles’s first large trophy in 56 years when his team set up in the Carabao Cup final in the Wembley Stadium via Liverpool. He also returned to the Champions League Football in 2003 and has his team on course to qualify for the top competition in Europe again.

The 47-year-old was appointed in 2021 after making a name for himself during two defining spells in Bournemouth at the age of 11.
