Player ratings as sluggish Gunners held to draw

Arsenal was brought back to Earth on Saturday evening in the Premier League to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw against Brentford in the Emirates stage.

The Gunners flown up on Tuesday when Real Madrid was the visitors in the Champions League, but this time it was a completely different story in a game that never got going.

Arsenal was almost the better team – not that it was one -sided from a distance – and was a good value for the tour that Thomas Partey gave them an hour in an hour. But Brentford was never out of the way and actually ended the strong as soon as Yoane Wissa got her back on level.
