The six-time Premier League champion confirmed that at the end of this season he will end his ten-year connection with City. After de Bruyne enjoyed a leading role in Crystal Palace on Saturday, he was asked if he would consider to join another Premier League club.

“I don’t know,” he said Viaplay. “It couldn’t be like that. It is very difficult because the decision to go long was not long, so nothing can be decided in a week. In the football world, I don’t think everything will come in a week. It is very slow. I haven’t even seen my family since the announcement.”

“Whatever the project is available, I’m ready to listen,” continued de Bruyne. “I love football. I like to play football and when AA comes nice projects and my family is good with it, we can make a decision.”
