Player ratings as Van Dijk heads home late winner

Virgil van Dijks 89th-minute header achieved Liverpool a 2-1 win against a spirited West Ham United in Anfield, which extends her lead at the top of the table to 13 points.

The reds were conveniently the better team in the first 45 minutes and rightly led during the break thanks to Luis Diaz ‘tenth Premier League goal of the season, which was transferred to him by an exquisite square ball from the new two-year contract festival, Mohamed Salah.

In this opening section, West Ham was unable to keep the ball on the ball, but things changed after the interval when Graham Potter showed his side to play long diagonal passes in her front duo by Mohammed Kudus and Jarroden Bowen.

Kudus, who hit the crossbar in the first half in the first half during a rare striker, became more of a threat on the floor, and Bowen, when his concise running run behind him, Alisson refused to compensate when Lucas Paqueta sent it to one one.

Alisson then played Kudus with an intelligent save when Liverpool generated no dynamic, and there was no real surprise when West Ham’s equalizer arrived four minutes before the time. However, it was an unexpected name on the Scoresheet-Robertson, which Aaron Wan-Bissakas crossed the cross into his own network after not sorting out his feet.

Angeld had shot at the beginning of the game when the followers ate Salah’s new contract and should not deny Liverpool supporters. It was perhaps fitting that van Dijk, which is expected to follow the leadership of the Egyptian with the signing of a new contract, was the game winner and climbed the highest from a corner to be over according to alphonse.

Niclas Fullkrug still had time to hit the woodwork for West Ham before the last pipe, but the home team clung to move within two victories of a second Premier League title.
