It was his first strike since he came to NK Tabor Sezana in early March and reports from local media that he made a significant improvement – even though he still begins a match for the second page of the level.
Berahino recently opened his career and explained how his lack of support system around him affected his life on and next to the field.

“Footballers should avoid the culture of cutting through the corners. Young players should be encouraged to trust the process and build their career from day by day.”
Berahino also explained why his magic in India did not work and how his international ambitions were behind his most recent step – since he hopes that this could be a turning point.
“I would have loved playing football in India and serving Rajasthan well,” he said.
“However, my family didn’t feel comfortable at all. I say it with a lot of respect for India and their people. It is not a bad place, but my wife and children couldn’t stay.”
The Burundi International added: “As soon as you have reached 30, it is difficult to return to the top level, especially if you have not been in contact for some time.
“However, I train hard with an association that understands me well. The goal is to again captain my national team and qualify for the AFCON in qualification.
“I would like to wear the Burundian kit again and take part in qualifications of the World Cup.”
