Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has warned Jadon Sancho that he is playing on the Stamford Bridge for his future.
Sancho moved to Chelsea last summer with a Saisond loan from Manchester United, in a deal that contains an obligation for the blues to sign it permanently for a fee of around 25 million GBP.
However, it later turned out that Chelsea had the opportunity to leave her purchase obligation and to send Sancho back to United for only 5 million GBP. It is not yet assumed that a final decision was made about the winger, who has three goals and ten templates in 33 appearances for the club.
After these news had emerged, Sancho enjoyed a real increase in the form. April brought three templates in two games in the conference league against Legia Warsaw and an impressive strike to save a tie with Ipswich Town, but Maresca insisted that this was not due to any challenge.
“The only thing we said about Jadon and all our offensive players is that we need more in terms of numbers, goals and templates,” Maresca told the media.

Even if Chelsea choose Sancho permanently, there is no guarantee that the wing player will remain beyond the summer transfer window at Stamford Bridge.
In fact, it was recently speculated that the 25-year-old has already decided that he would like to return to the Bundesliga this year and that he was seen as the top priority with Borussia Dortmund.
A return to United does not seem to be an option, with his high wages and his bad relationship to the rest of the changing room made almost a certainty.
