Gabriel Martinelli extends own Arsenal record with milestone goal

Gabriel Martinelli scored his 50th Arsenal goal at the weekend with the 50th Arsenal when the Gunners in the Premier League made it easier to win over Ipswich Town.

The 23-year-old received number 49 against Real Madrid in Bernabeu on Wednesday evening and helped spend the process at the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Half -century was completed on Sunday afternoon in the Portman Road. Arsenal’s second goal, which became a 4-0 thrashing, which at least ensured that Liverpool had to wait another week to be mathematically crowned by England’s new masters.

Remarkably, Arsenal has never lost a game in which Martinelli has scored a goal. Of course, Ipswich was probably never an integral part to question this, but it was certainly Real Madrid.

Martinelli has found the network in 44 different games for Arsenal since he came to the club from the barely well -known Brazilian club Ituano in summer 2019. The Gunners won 37 and pulled seven.

Games without loss are a club record that the 23-year-old already keeps a distance. The next one on the list divided by Arsenal to celebrate Martenelli’s feat is Kai Havertz on 28th

The current player Leandro Trossard, who also (twice) campaigned against Ipswich, is 26. He is at level with Lee Dixon, Perry Groves and Ray Parlor. Dixon went through Arsenal for 14 years without losing a game in which he had achieved. Although he achieved a full-back and therefore less often, he never ended up on the lost side when he scored his 27 Gunners goals.

When it comes to Havertz, Arsenal has drawn the other two to two out of 28 games, in which Havertz has achieved in 2023 in 2023.
