Newcastle United is ready to compete with Chelsea and Manchester United with the Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.
The 22-year-old Delap, who has achieved 12 times in the Premier League this season, is expected to leave Ipswich this summer, especially if the team of Kieran McKenna has relegated and a release clause of 30 million GBP is active in Delaps Treaty.
Chelsea has a long -term interest in Delap, while United recently made the young striker her top striker for the summer window, but recently. The Telegraph Enter that the two clubs have to give up Newcastle’s interest.
While Newcastle is prepared for significant jobs for her own starting striker Alexander Isak, it is emphasized that Delap is not seen as a replacement for the Swedish international. In fact, the magpies hope to have both strikers in their squad next season and even play them side by side.
Delaps potential arrival in Tyneside could, however, signal the end for the 33-year-old Callum Wilson, whose contract is this summer. Newcastle has a 12-month expansion clause, but is undecided whether they should be triggered.
If the deletion is available for 30 million GBP – the descent from Ipswich is almost safe, but not yet mathematically confirmed – it would not be a surprise that more pages are considered to be significant competitors for its signature.
The athlete‘S David Ornstein states that there is currently no favorite in the race for Delap, who has to decide how to test himself due to its large number of clients.
