Ruben Amorim reveals Man Utd star risks missing rest of season

The head coach of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, announced this week that the long -lasting defender Diogo Dalot could possibly miss the rest of the campaign with a calf Injury.

Dalot was almost omnipresent for United this season, in 51 of the club’s 52 games in all competitions. The Portuguese international in a series of roles that are distributed along the backline was one of the few outstanding actors in a miserable season.

After a sequence of 19 successive starts – an unbroken run of almost 30 hours on the square for United – Dalot received a merciful place on the bench for the collision against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. Amorim was unable to resist the urge to take up his compatriot for the last half hour, and are now unable to call up Dalot for several matches.

“Diogo Dalot is outside,” Sighed Amorim when he spoke against Bournemouth in front of the media on Sunday. “We don’t know how long he will be outside, but he is on the road for these next games.”

United travels to Bilbao to stand against the athletic club in the first leg of the semi -finals in the Europa League before he organized in Old Trafford in Old Trafford a week later. Amorim effectively confirmed that Dalot would miss the opening in Spain and could not provide any assurances that he would resume this campaign again.

“There is this option [Dalot’s season is over]But I don’t know, “AMORIM admitted.” We will check week after week because he works really hard, he can recover pretty well.

“He has something in his calf muscle. He had a sequence of games in which he played all the time. We tried to manage, but some of the players have to play for many minutes and we have to protect those we believe that they are not ready to deal with it, but Dalot felt something.”

Amorim also revealed that Amad Diallo is “close” in the plot “nearby” and has been widespread reports that the striker of the club’s start of the club was a rapid recovery from one that many applied for an injury at the end of the season. Matthijs de Ligt also approaches the end of his rehabilitation, while the other central defender Ayden Heaven is “not yet ready”.
