Where Chelsea could play during desired Stamford Bridge rebuild

Chelsea’s suggested Stamford Bridge conversion could see that the blues was forced to find a temporary home when the work on the project finally begins and Tickenham is available as a practical option.

With Stamford Bridge, who are much smaller than Old Trafford and the Emirates Stadium, Chelsea wanted to renovate and expand her stadium for almost 20 years.

It started relatively early during the possession of Roman Abramovich, but has been re -imposed since the Blueco takeover in 2022 and included in a new life.

Chelsea secured a contract in 2023 to enter into force in 2025 to buy neighboring land worth 80 million GBP from a veteran accommodation organization worth 80 million GBP that would enable the stadium and the surrounding area to be renovated. The country, in which 6,500 military pensioners were found, was listed for sale, and the club was reported at the time that it had defeated the competition of 13 rivals.

The renovation of Stamford Bridge One Stand after the other, according to Liverpool’s approach to Angeld, is not considered ideal. It is more likely that they pulled the existing stadium in the same place and build from the ground up. But while Manchester United is not forced due to the size of the wider Old Trafford location, Chelsea is missing, even if the new neighboring land purchase of the busy London roads that Stamford Bridge can leave while a new stadium is being built.

Twickenham is located

Chelsea previously played in Tickenham, the home of the English Rugby Union, and currently known as an Allianz Stadium for Sponsoring purposes. The venue with 82,000 capacities is about seven miles further west to the outskirts of London in Richmond via Thames.

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has essentially opened the doors in Tickenham to Chelsea, in the hope that it will be financially rewarded as part of the efforts to use the stadium for more soothing events.

“It would make it possible to make discussions about it beforehand [Premier League] Clubs that come here, “said RFU managing director Bill Sweeney about The Telegraph.

“Richmond Council, Richmond Borough is more concerned about it [local impact]. I just think that the effects on the residents, the number of fans and something like that are more sensitive. It can depend on which club it is.

“It would be a large financial number, I know that Richmond Borough would definitely have a conversation about it.”
