Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed his wish to sign Chelsea and Manchester United Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.
Delap is expected to trigger a transfer scramble this summer after his publication clause of £ 30 million to Ipswich’s descent from the Premier League.
Chelsea are long-term admirers of the 22-year-old. Some outlets name the blues as a favorite to win the race for his signature, but United sees Delap as a top striker destination in the summer transfer window.
Moyes admitted that the other free of Delap probably have larger profiles than Everton, but swore to fight his signature when the English youth is internationally internationally for moving to Merseyside.

In the recent reports, Newcastle United was also referred to as rival applicants, whereby the magpies want to build a forward line that includes both Delap and the reprint Alexander Isak, whose price tag should ensure that he stays in St. James’ Park beyond summer.
Delap will probably have his selection of clubs this summer and will have the last word about his future, with European football and competition by minutes probably include its final decision.
