Manchester United’s willingness to sign a striker this summer apparently seems to make you consider options beyond Viktor Gyokoker and Liam Delap.
Gyokoker may be the most about strikers on the market when the transfer window approaches due to its 52 goals for the sporty CP. Ruben Amorim’s presence in Manchester takes an obvious step for the Swedes, but the competition is probably widespread.
Delap is available a fixed fee of 30 million GBP after the descent from Ipswich Town, but a completely different goal is as a raw and largely unpolished talent.
Moise Kean is not a name that was previously associated with United, but the former striker of Juventus, Everton and Paris Saint-Germain has become a figure of interest after having been on the right track last summer since joining Fiorentina.
Only Atalantas Mateo Retegui (24) achieved more goals in Series A this season as Kean (17), and Foot Mercato claims that Manchester United has added the Italian to his list of options.
Kean was intended as a superstar of the future when he made his debut for Juventus almost nine years ago at the age of 16. His time in Everton during the Covid 19-Plaged-Plaged 2019/20 was a small disaster and it has needed it so far to really find and thrive his feet.
The 25-year-old is said to have a publication of € 50 million (€ 42.5 million) in his Fiorentina contract, which is active in the first two weeks of July. But Bayern Munich are described as “exactly monitored” in the above report, while in the past it was recently associated with Barcelona.
Kean seems to be an option of a compromise with medium soil for United, more proven and more experienced than Delap, but more affordable than Gyokoker, especially if the association does not qualify for the Champions League of the next season by winning the Europa League later this month.
But if Gyokoker is ideal in the case of a Champions League injection, Victor Osimhen is another one that remains an alternative for Manchester United.
The Nigerian’s career has taken a somewhat curious path since he fired Napoli into the series -a -Ruhm in 2022/23, failed with the club and was borrowed with Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig this season after looking for a large part of the last summer after moving the Saudi Pro league.
Osimhen scored 33 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray, officially the most productive season of his career, with Foot Mercato claims that United representatives have recently met his entourage. It is said that he is “very interested” in a move to Old Trafford, but will probably cost up to € 75 million (64 million GBP) and will therefore not be a cheap acquisition.
If the reporting is correct, it would be a U -turn in relation to United a few weeks ago when interest in Osimhen about the wage requirements of the player and questions about whether his character and personality are suitable for the project.
