In the meantime, Bournemouth star Huijsen has become one of the most sought-after central defenders in European football in the Premier League.

The Spanish international was consistently a defensive rock for the cherries since he signed Juventus for almost 13 million pounds last summer.

Madrid is very interested in welcoming the 20-year-old in Bernabeu, but could face the competition from the Premier League teams.

Talksport reported last month that Chelsea had strengthened her interest in Huijsen, who has a publication clause of 50 million GBP.

Arsenal and Tottenham have also held talks, but it goes without saying that Liverpool is his preferred Premier League club.

If a move to England does not come into play, Huijsen could be set for the Spanish giants for Madrid during a huge summer.

You will already announce the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Madrid’s summer plans follow the signatures of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe in the last two windows.

The club is planning a big farewell to Ancelotti in their last home game of the season against Real Sociedad on May 25th.

His successor is as good as confirmed when talk sport understands that Alonso has agreed to return this summer.

The Spaniard will leave Bayer Leverkusen in the HotSeat after a little more than two and a half years.

Alonso led Leverkusen to an unbeaten Bundesliga title last season and was then associated with the Liverpool job before Arne Slot joined.

Alonso said the official website of the German club: “Thank you Bayer 04 Leverkusen, my players and employees, all employees of the club and, last but not least, the fantastic fans. Our success was the result of an outstanding team performance.

“This association, which showed me an extraordinary trust in me, deserved to win the title of the German League for the first time. My thanks and admiration go to everyone who has contributed to enabling this triumph, including the DFB Cup victory in Berlin.

“Bayer 04 is ready for the future. The positive way will continue and I will look forward to following him.”

Now he will return to Los Blancos and replace Ancelotti, who has delivered a lot more success in his second spell.

After two titles from Laliga and three Champions League titles, the Italian will leave there under various other honors throughout his time.
