Alexander Isak ‘doesn’t have the balls’ to hand in transfer request at Newcastle to force Liverpool move

Simon Jordan believes that Alexander Isak lacks the courage to give a transfer application at Newcastle in relation to Liverpool’s interest.

After three seasons with the Magpies, Isak has informed the Carabao Cup champions that he wants to research his options from Tyneside.

The Swedish striker did not travel to Singapore for her pre-season tour and trained alone in his former Club Real Sociedad.

Newcastle rejected an offer of £ 110 million from Liverpool for the 25-year-old and estimated it for around 150 million GBP.

However, while Isak has not yet officially submitted a transfer request, the Jordan of Talksport does not have the courage to do this.

“How would you want Eddie Howe to deal with this ISAK situation? How difficult is it now for Eddie?” Ade Oladipo asked White and Jordan.

“He is an experienced manager, this will not be the first player who has not been happy about a number of circumstances,” said Jordan.

“There are more in the media than on site. As soon as people accept the reality of their circumstances, they tend to continue.

“I think Eddie will easily deal with it. I don’t think Isak has the balls to set up a transfer request and really rock the apple car and make it so difficult.

“Unless he gets a real reinforcement of Liverpool and I don’t think Newcastle will sell him for £ 110 million.

“You could move from £ 150 million, you could go to £ 120 million, £ 125 million, but I don’t think you will sell it for the first offer from Liverpool.”

Newcastle Look will miss another striker, as Talksport understands that Benjamin Sesko wants to join Manchester United.

United offered initial £ 65.1 million plus another 8.7 million GBP to add-ons.

RB Leipzig received an £ 70 million plus add-on offer from Newcastle, but the Slovenian star would prefer Old Trafford to St. James’ Park.

Sesko would sign another place with Joao Pedro, Hugo Ekikte and Liam Delap as strikers this summer.

Will Newcastle Isak sell without signing a replacement?

Oladipo asked whether Newcastle ISAK would still sell if it did not sign a replacement striker.

“Do you think when Liverpool goes … let’s say that £ 130 million is the number and you don’t get a replacement striker in the Sesko caliber, will Newcastle still sell?”

Jordan replied: “Newcastle will bring in someone, it is a case in which he is in.

“If you want to consider your business to be a good signing through the look of the media and those for the media, you will always be for the standards that other people have set for you.

“Eddie is in a difficult position because Isak is a top player, there are so few of them. And Newcastle …

“Despite the protests of people who want to blame, despite the Craig Hope of the World, who want to blame in everything, and what they should now say that PIF ownership depresses responsibility and does not do what it has said.

“All of this nonsense that does not help anyone does not create an opportunity for everything. What exactly could have done Newcastle?

“You put the guy in a five -year contract, he still has three years to protect your position.

“Even if they had given him a salary increase, Liverpool would have just coordinated the increase in salary, and he would still want to go to Liverpool.

“So it makes no sense to give him an increase in salary, because everything you will do is give him an increase in salary so that he does the same bloody thing. ‘Oh, he might have changed his opinion.’ No, he wouldn’t do it.

“He wanted to play for Liverpool, and if the Liverpool deal does not happen … it will happen. It is not a case whether Alexander Isak is going, it is a case when.

“In an ideal world, you want Newcastle to have him this season and let him go in the next season and give yourself enough scope to achieve another time.

“Another structure of the picture of Newcastle and the heads of players like this boy who becomes united that I think he made a mistake.

“I think you are united right now than a reality and Newcastle is a club with swing and a manager who has traction

“I think it is what you should look for as a footballer and not what you imagine in your mind was once the largest club in English football.”
